HGV Body Builder / Fabricator 📍 Location: [Insert Location] 💰 Pay: £13 per hour (Trainee) – Up to £15.00 per hour (Experienced) 🕒 Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 15:30 (Overtime available) About the Role: We are seeking a skilled HGV Body Builder / Fabricator to join our team. This role involves constructing and repairing commercial vehicle bodies, working with various materials, and ensuring high-quality finishes. If you have experience in fabrication, welding, and vehicle bodywork, this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a growing industry. Key Responsibilities: 🔧 Body Construction: Build Beavertail, Platform, Curtain Side, and Drop Side vehicle bodies. 🚛 HGV Repairs: Carry out chassis and body repairs on commercial vehicles. ⚙️ Fabrication & Fitting: Cut, grind, and fit components with precision. 🛠️ Metalwork: Work with steel, aluminum, and other materials. 🛠️ Panel Repairs: Repair GRP and lightweight panels. 🚚 Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles for refurbishment and modifications. ⚒️ Power Tools & Working at Heights: Safely use power tools and occasionally work from ladders. ⚠️ Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all safety regulations and correct PPE usage.
