Job Title: Director of Digital Strategy and IT Location: Leading London Independent School, West London Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: May 2025 (subject to notice period) Salary: Highly competitive, negotiable on experience and qualifications Are you a forward-thinking IT leader with experience in education? We're recruiting for a Director of Digital Strategy and IT to join one of London's and the UK's leading independent school. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver the school's digital vision, supporting both teaching and operations through innovative and secure technology. The Director of Digital Strategy and IT will define and deliver the IT strategy, oversee the infrastructure and user experience, and ensure systems are reliable, efficient, and cyber secure. You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team, supporting digital learning and managing a high-performing IT support service. To be successful in this Director of Digital Strategy and IT role, you'll need: Proven experience in IT strategy and operations, ideally in a school setting Strong project and people management skills Technical expertise including VMware, Microsoft systems, network infrastructure, and MIS (e.g., iSAMS) Confidence overseeing budgets, service contracts, and compliance, including GDPR and cyber security This is a full-time, year-round position with generous holiday allowance (38 days + bank holidays), private healthcare, a great pension and a market leading salary reviewed annually
