Python Developer - Global Markets Technology - Leading Investment Bank We are looking for a talented Python Developer to join a leading Global Markets team in London. This role focuses on automation, interface development, and real-time trading system monitoring, contributing to the de-risking of strategic platforms. You will play a key role in enhancing a command-and-control UI used to monitor, manage, and troubleshoot trading systems in real time. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and automate Python-based solutions for trading system interfaces. * Build wrappers for automation and testing of upstream application scripts. * Enhance and optimize Linux-based applications and migrate key features to Windows. * Collaborate with teams across Global Markets to integrate and onboard new features. * Contribute to real-time monitoring and troubleshooting tools to improve system performance and regulatory compliance. Key Skills & Experience: * Strong Python development skills, with a focus on automation and scripting. * Experience working with Linux-based applications, including system-level development and troubleshooting. * Knowledge of web development (React, Click library for Python) is a plus. * Background in financial services or trading system monitoring is advantageous. * Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
