Flexible hybrid working (Stafford-based with remote options)* An exciting opportunity has arisen at one of our clients for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Ruby-on-Rails experience to join a forward-thinking and collaborative tech company working on innovative, scalable digital solutions. The Role: As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications. You’ll be working across the full stack using Ruby-on-Rails, with some exposure to Laravel, and will collaborate closely with operational teams, designers, and fellow developers. Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Ruby-on-Rails and Laravel * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions * Build and maintain APIs and integrate third-party services * Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsiveness * Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews * Troubleshoot and debug complex issues * Keep up to date with emerging technologies and best practices Requirements: * 5+ years of commercial experience in full stack development * Proficient in Ruby-on-Rails * Basic understanding of Laravel * Solid front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or Vue.js) * Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) * Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines * Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities Desirable Skills: * Experience with AWS or Azure * Knowledge of Docker and DevOps practices What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary of up to £70,000 * Flexible hybrid working (Stafford-based with remote options) * A supportive and collaborative team culture * Opportunities for professional development and career progression If you're a proactive developer with a passion for clean code and impactful projects, we'd love to hear from you.
