Lead Oracle Database Administrator Must have active SC Clearance Initial 6 months contract Inside IR35 / Hybrid Working in the South West ✅ Core Responsibilities Manage and support Oracle and MS SQL Server databases (on-premise and cloud) Lead database support across Dev, Test, and Live environments Provide 3rd line support and technical design Ensure database security, resilience, and compliance Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors Lead installation, configuration, upgrades, and performance tuning Maintain documentation and train junior staff✅ Key Technical Skills Oracle 19c (Dataguard, RMAN, OEM Grid) MS SQL Server PostgreSQL Windows Server administration Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) Performance tuning, backup/restore, high availability✅ Other Skills & Experience Leadership and coordination across teams Problem-solving in high-pressure environments Stakeholder management and influencing Experience in government or secure environments✅ Security Requirement Must have active UK Security Clearance (SC)People Source Consulting Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
