Description
Java Full-stack Engineers | Bristol - Hybrid - £50k - £65k
I am hiring multiple Full-Stack Java Developers for a people-first tech company that’s genuinely doing meaningful work.
This company has made a real impact, like helping reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 13%, and they’re scaling up their engineering teams to take on even bigger challenges. They’re looking for multiple Java engineers to join cross-functional squads working on a platform that supports the full life-cycle of high-value assets (think: lease, return, resale).
You’ll be hands-on with backend services majority of the time, that manage asset status, mileage tracking, and return workflows. On the frontend, you’ll help build tools for lease-end notifications, return scheduling, and payment tracking. There’s also loads of opportunity to get stuck into integrations with external systems, build internal dashboards, and work with real-time data.
The stack is solid: Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, React, TypeScript, AWS, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, CI/CD, and GitHub. We’re after developers who are strong on the backend but also comfortable jumping into the frontend to be fullstack.
In return, you’ll get a salary in the £50k–£65k range, plus bonus, generous pension, private medical, and a quick interview process. It’s a hybrid role based in Bristol, so you’ll get the best of both worlds, collaboration and flexibility.
If this sounds like something you’d be up for, or if you know someone who might be, drop me a message at (url removed) or connect with me on LinkedIn (Rebeka Mulk @ Opus Recruitment) for a quick chat.
