Business Development Manager – Cloud & Managed IT Services

We’re working with an established and ambitious Managed Services Provider (MSP), who are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition across their Cloud, Hybrid IT and Professional Services offerings.
You’ll be joining a high-energy, supportive team with a flexible hybrid working model – one day per week in their London office, the rest from home – with fantastic earning potential and the opportunity to shape your own success.
The role:
* Focus on new business acquisition across Cloud, Managed IT Services, Professional Services and Hardware
* Prospect, target and engage new corporate clients (cold calling required)
* Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
* Develop tailored sales strategies and account plans
* Effectively position the company’s value proposition in line with customers’ Hybrid IT needs
* Own the full sales cycle – from prospecting through to deal close and delivery
* Maintain accurate pipeline and CRM records
* Meet and exceed sales targets (monthly, quarterly and annual)
* Stay actively engaged in the IT services and Cloud space – keeping on top of market trends and technology developments
About you:
* Proven track record in new business sales within an MSP or IT services environment
* Confident, tenacious and effective at cold calling and outbound prospecting
* Strong understanding of the Cloud and IT services landscape, especially Microsoft-based solutions
* Able to engage senior stakeholders and influence buying decisions
* Commercially astute with an understanding of P&L
* Highly self-motivated, target-driven and financially motivated
* Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
* Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with clients and suppliers
* Able to thrive in both a small office environment and remote (WFH)
* High energy, positive attitude and professional approach
