Java API Developer x3 Northampton £55,000 - £60,000 + Benefits A leading consultancy-based organisation is currently looking to recruit a number of Java API Developers to partner with a financial services-based organisation who have a passion for designing and building robust, scalable applications. The successful skilled developer will join a dynamic engineering team, where you will play a key role in delivering high-performance backend solutions using the latest Java technologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and APIs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver quality solutions Write clean, efficient, and testable code Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and optimised for performanceSkills & Experience: Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, and API Gateway Solid understanding of OOP, Core Java, and Advanced Java Proficient with REST API, Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Microservices Architecture Familiarity with tools and technologies such as: Maven, Gradle SOAP, Junit, Oracle Jenkins, Nexus Git, JBoss/Tomcat Linux/UNIX shell scripting JIRA, Exec API Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., OpenShift V3, AWS, or Spring Cloud) is desirable
