Senior Support Worker Opportunity — Female Client with Motor Neurones Disease (MND) We are seeking experienced and compassionate carers to support a female client living in her own home. Assisting with all aspects of personal care and daily living. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s daily life while providing high-quality, person-centred care. All staff are required to start off being trained by doing double-up hours with a primary member of staff so you can familiarise yourself with the client and their care needs. There are then opportunities to progress up to longer 1:1 hours. Double-up hours are usually Mon-Sun (Apply online only), Mon-Fri (Apply online only) and Sat-Sun (Apply online only). Location:Reading Hours: 24/7 Day and Night Shifts Available Salary: £14.50 per hour Key Responsibilities: * Assisting with all aspects of personal care and hygiene * Supporting safe mobility, including using hoist * Assistance with eating and drinking * Providing companionship and emotional support Ideal Candidate: * Previous experience supporting clients who have physical disabilities and/or require complex healthcare * A compassionate and respectful approach to care * Driver advantagous - mobility car available * Reliable, punctual, and professional * Enhanced DBS check If you are passionate about delivering outstanding care and are looking for a role where you can truly make a difference, we would love to hear from you
