Due to continued demand for our temporary staffing services across Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, we are recruiting experienced, compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our flexible agency team. As an Agency Support Worker, you will work across a variety of care and support settings, providing high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs. We are looking for experienced Support Workers who can adapt confidently to different environments while promoting independence, choice, dignity, safety and wellbeing. About the Role Your responsibilities may include supporting individuals with their daily routines, personal care, meal preparation, accessing the community, appointments, activities and developing or maintaining independent living skills. You may support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, complex needs or behaviours that may challenge, depending on the placement. You will be expected to follow individual support plans and risk assessments, maintain accurate and professional records and recognise and report any changes or concerns relating to an individual's health, wellbeing or safety. As an agency worker, you will need to build positive professional relationships quickly, maintain appropriate boundaries and work effectively alongside permanent staff and other professionals. What We're Looking For Applicants must: * Have a minimum of 3 months' recent UK experience within support work, supported living, residential care or another relevant care setting * Have a good understanding of safeguarding, professional boundaries, risk management and accurate record keeping * Be willing to complete Onpoint Care's induction and all required mandatory training * Have an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory employment references and the Right to Work in the UK Please note: Onpoint Care is unable to offer sponsorship for this position.
