Description
The Role: HGV Class 1 (CE) Day Driver
* Location: Portsmouth
* Work Type: Hub and Depot deliveries (Chilled & Ambient).
* Shift: Typically 06:00 starts.
* Contract: Ongoing bookings with permanent positions and full-time contracts available.
Pay & Guarantees (PAYE)
* Standard Rate: £19.00 per hour (Monday – Friday).
* Daily Guarantee: Minimum 10 hours pay per shift.
* The Big Perks: Paid breaks included and a £900 per week retainer available.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience: Ideally 6 months, but New Pass drivers are welcome (subject to assessment/interview).
* Compliance: Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi card. Max 6 points (no DD/DR).
* Skills: Strong geographical knowledge of the South of England and the ability to navigate cross-country diversions when needed.
