Our client is a Print Finisher based in Leeds LS12 The position is on a temporary-to-permanent basis after a 12-week period Working Shift Pattern * 3 shifts on rotation: Early - Late - Nights * Sunday to Saturday 05:45 - 14:00 / 13:45 - 22:00 / 21.45 - 06.00 The Print Finishing Operator / Machine Operator is responsible for accurately and efficiently finishing printed materials, ensuring products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Prepare printed sheets to required specifications. * Inspect material quality throughout the run, identifying defects such as print issues, errors, contamination, or inconsistencies. * Ensure correct labelling and packaging of finished goods for final dispatch or further processing. * Perform routine machine maintenance such as cleaning. * Follow job specifications, ensuring all customer requirements are met. * Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance quality. Skills & Experience * Experience in print finishing equipment or in a print or packaging environment (preferred but not essential). * Attention to detail with the ability to spot defects * Working to deadlines and productivity expectations. * Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Personal Attributes * Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent performance. * Proactive approach to problem‑solving and quality control. * Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop within the business. * Up to date with current health and safety procedures. Working Conditions * Standing for long periods and handling reels or materials. * Overtime may be required depending on business needs.
