Description

The Role As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements. Your responsibilities will include: * Setting out and surveying for highways and civil engineering works * Checking levels, line and grade * Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications * Completing quality assurance and site documentation * Working closely with Site Managers, Project Managers and subcontractors * Recording and reporting site progress * Supporting the delivery of works to programme * Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are maintained Requirements * Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering projects * Strong setting out experience * Experience with highways, earthworks, drainage and associated civils * Competent with surveying equipment * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience * CSCS card * Strong communication and organisational skills Package * £350 – £450 per day, depending on experience * 12-month contract * Immediate start * Major highways infrastructure project * Long-term opportunity with a leading contractor * Based in Colchester, Essex If you are an experienced Site Engineer looking for a long-term opportunity on a major highways scheme, please apply with your latest CV or contact us directly for more information
