Payroll Manager 📍 Paisley 💰 £40-45K plus benefits ⏰ Full Time, Permanent Are you an experienced payroll professional who enjoys taking ownership and seeing the job through from start to finish? Our client is looking for a Payroll Manager to take responsibility for the end-to-end payroll process for a dedicated client account of approximately 450 employees. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, organisation and strong stakeholder management are key to success. The Role You'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time, while managing all aspects of payroll administration and compliance. Key duties include: Managing the end-to-end monthly payroll process Reviewing timesheets, overtime, absence and payroll adjustments Processing starters, leavers and contractual changes Completing payroll checks, reconciliations and RTI submissions Managing SSP, SMP, SPP and statutory payments Resolving payroll queries and discrepancies Building strong relationships with operational managers and internal stakeholders Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations, PAYE, NI and pension requirements About You We're looking for someone who: Has previous payroll management or payroll processing experience Has strong knowledge of PAYE, National Insurance, pensions and statutory payments Has experience processing variable-hours and hourly-paid employees Is confident working with payroll data and Excel Has excellent attention to detail Can manage deadlines and prioritise a busy workload Enjoys building relationships and solving problems Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
