Senior Quantity Surveyor | Design & Build Fit-Out | Central London | Freelance or Temp to Permanent   I’m working with an established design and build contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their London commercial team.   The division delivers fast-paced, single-stage D&B projects ranging from £5m to £12m and has begun securing increasingly substantial schemes.   This is a strong opportunity for a commercially astute surveyor who understands where contractual and financial risk sits and wants hands-on responsibility throughout project delivery.   The Role Commercial management of design and build fit-out projects Procurement and management of subcontract packages Valuations, applications for payment and subcontractor payments Monthly CVRs, forecasting and commercial reporting Managing variations, change control and final accounts Working closely with the pre-construction, design and operational teams Maintaining a regular site presence throughout post-contract delivery  Projects Single-stage Design & Build Commercial fit-out and refurbishment Projects ranging from £5m to £12m Fast-paced London delivery programmes  What they're looking for Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor with main contractor, fit-out or D&B experience Strong understanding of single-stage Design & Build procurement Experience independently commercially managing projects through delivery Strong procurement, CVR, valuation, change control and final account experience Comfortable working within a fast-paced contracting environment Hungry, adaptable and willing to maintain a strong site presence  The Business Established London design and build contractor £45m–£50m turnover London D&B division Central London office with frequent London site visits Growing portfolio of £5m–£12m fit-out projects Opportunity to join a business strengthening its commercial delivery capability Two-stage interview process followed by a behavioural assessment  Interested?
