HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers - Tamworth Up to £22.00 per hour | Ongoing Night Work | Flexible Start Times The Best Connection are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Drivers for an established logistics operation based in Tamworth, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With regular night work available, excellent rates of pay and straightforward trunking duties, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Class 1 drivers looking for consistent, ongoing work. Pay Rates Monday to Friday Nights: £19.37 per hour Saturday Nights: £20.17 per hour Sunday Nights: £22.00 per hourAny shift starting after 12:01pm will be paid at the applicable night shift rate for the entire shift. The Role Ongoing night shift work. RDC and NDC deliveries. No store deliveries. No loading or unloading duties. Minimal manual handling - primarily opening and closing trailer doors. Various start times available. Flexible scheduling where possible to accommodate preferred start times. Regular work with an established logistics operation. Driver Requirements To be considered for this role, you will need: A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Minimum 6 month's Class 1 driving experience. Maximum 6 penalty points. Successful completion of a driving assessment.The driving assessment is paid upon successful completion.
