Class 2 HGV Driver (Cat C) – Temp to Perm Opportunity Location: Near Dover, Kent Contract: Temporary to Permanent Pay: £15.00 per hour (overtime after 45 hours, £21.75) We’re recruiting a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver to join our client based near Dover, Kent, with an immediate start available. The Role * 07:00 starts, Monday to Friday * Driving a 26-tonne flatbed vehicle * Delivering timber components including roof trusses, open web joists, I-joists, spandrel panels, and gable panels * No nights out required * Ensuring loads are safely secured and transported * Complying with all health, safety, and road regulations What You’ll Need * Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with Digital Tacho and CPC Card * Previous experience driving flatbed vehicles preferred * Good understanding of load security and safe driving practices * Strong communication skills and a reliable attitude Why Join Us? * Weekly pay * Holiday pay (accrued or rolled up) * Pension scheme * Monday to Friday work – no weekends * No nights out * Opportunity for a permanent role This position is available immediately, subject to a successful trail day with the customer.
