Engineering Geologist - Bristol Location: Bristol Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 Type: Permanent An established multidisciplinary consultancy is looking for an Engineering Geologist to join its Bristol team. This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious geologist to work across a varied portfolio of infrastructure, development and civil engineering projects. The Role Undertake and support ground investigations, including site work, logging and interpretation of ground conditions. Produce factual and interpretative ground investigation reports and engineering geological assessments. Review and interpret borehole logs, geological maps, laboratory data and site investigation information. Provide geological input into geotechnical assessments and engineering design. Support projects from initial investigation through to design and construction. Liaise with clients, contractors and multidisciplinary project teams. Undertake site visits and provide technical support during construction.Requirements Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology or a related subject. Previous experience within a geotechnical or engineering geology consultancy environment. Experience with ground investigation and geological logging. Strong technical report writing and communication skills. A good understanding of UK geology and ground conditions. Full UK driving licence desirable.This role would suit an Engineering Geologist looking to develop their technical experience within a growing multidisciplinary consultancy, with opportunities to work on complex and varied projects across the South West
