Freelance Site Manager – Commercial Office Fit-Out Location: Ludgate Hill, London Project Value: £300,000–£400,000 Start Date: Monday Contract: 7 – 8 weeks Rate: £250 per day We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a commercial office fit-out project in Ludgate Hill, London. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of the commercial office fit-out project. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site operatives. Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to specification. Manage site logistics, sequencing and short-term planning. Coordinate M&E and finishing trades throughout the project. Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained. Review RAMS and ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with them. Maintain site records, daily reports and relevant health & safety documentation. Liaise with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and client representatives. Monitor progress and identify any potential programme or delivery issues. Ensure the site is kept clean, safe and well organised. Assist with snagging, handover and completion of the project.Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial office fit-out/refurbishment. Experience delivering projects in the region of £300k–£400k. Strong knowledge of CAT A and/or CAT B office fit-out. Experience coordinating M&E, drylining, ceilings, flooring, finishes and associated trades. Strong subcontractor management and site coordination skills. Valid CSCS card. SMSTS. First Aid. Strong understanding of UK construction health & safety requirements. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
