CLASS 1 HGV DRIVER - EVENTS WORK | BIRMINGHAM DNA Recruitment Solutions Ltd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers for exciting and varied events work based primarily from Birmingham, with events taking place across the UK. If you're looking for something different from standard trunking or multi-drop work, this could be the role for you! 🚛 THE ROLE Main base: Birmingham Events work covering venues across the UK Variety of shifts available across 7 days a week Transporting trailers loaded with event equipment to and from events Once at the event, carrying out trailer movements between the event site and secure parking Regular trailer drops, collections and swaps No handball involved Some work will require nights out Minimum 12 hours paid for every shift This is a great opportunity for drivers who enjoy variety and don't want to be doing the same run every day. 💷 PAY RATES - PAYE ONLY Monday to Friday 💷 £17.00 per hour 💷 £19.05 per hour including holiday pay Saturday 💷 £18.00 per hour 💷 £20.17 per hour including holiday pay Sunday 💷 £19.00 per hour 💷 £21.29 per hour including holiday pay 🛏️ NIGHTS OUT £35 tax-free night-out allowance Parking costs paid ✅ WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence Valid Driver CPC Valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience Confident carrying out trailer drops, swaps and movements Good understanding of drivers' hours and Working Time Regulations Reliable and professional attitude Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across 7 days a week Willingness to travel and work UK-wide events ⭐ WHY THIS ROLE? 🚛 Class 1 Events Work 📍 Mainly Birmingham-based 🇬🇧 UK-wide events ⏰ Minimum 12 hours paid per shift 💷 Excellent PAYE rates 🛏️ £35 tax-free night-out allowance 🅿️ Parking paid 📦 No handball 🔄 Lots of trailer drops & swaps If you're an experienced Class 1 driver looking for well-paid, varied work with plenty of hours, we'd love to hear from you. 📞 Contact DNA Recruitment Solutions Ltd today to apply or find out more
