Empowering Learning is working with an Outstanding secondary special school supporting students aged 11-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and Autism (ASD). We are recruiting Teaching Assistants for September starts to support pupils with a wide range of additional needs. The role: Supporting students with SLD, PMLD and Autism Assisting with communication, learning and personal development Working closely with teachers and therapists Providing personal care where required Helping create a safe, positive and engaging learning environmentWe are looking for: Compassionate, reliable and proactive individuals Experience in SEND, care, education or support work is desirable A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs Ability to work as part of a dedicated teamRequirements: Enhanced DBS on the Child & Adult Workforce (or willingness to obtain one) Professional references covering the last two years Right to work in the UKWhether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or looking to start a career in SEND education, we'd love to hear from you.
