Construction Estimator (Intermediate to Senior) West Yorkshire Salary negotiable (Up to £80,000 + Company Car + Package) Established Main Contractor Full-Time | Permanent | Office-Based An established main contractor based in West Yorkshire is looking to appoint an Intermediate or Senior Estimator to strengthen its pre-construction team. The business delivers a wide range of new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across Yorkshire and the wider region, working within sectors including commercial, education, leisure, healthcare, retail and industrial. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious estimator looking to join a forward-thinking contractor with a strong pipeline of secured work and a reputation for delivering high-quality projects. The Role Preparing detailed cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation Undertaking quantity take-offs and pricing exercises Obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations Identifying value engineering opportunities and project risks Working closely with directors, operational teams and clients throughout the bid process Supporting negotiations and helping secure profitable projects Requirements Previous experience in an Estimator or Quantity Surveyor role within construction Experience working for a main contractor Exposure to new build, refurbishment and/or fit-out projects Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to deadlines Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills What's on Offer Salary up to £80,000 depending on experience Car allowance Long-term career progression opportunities Stable pipeline of diverse projects Supportive and collaborative working environment Secure position within an established regional contractor What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
