Agent - Ground Investigation Works Heathrow Airport (Inside IR35 - Umbrella PAYE) Long-Term Contract We are currently seeking an experienced Agent to lead the delivery of a major Ground Investigation package at Heathrow Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for an Agent with a strong background in geotechnical and site investigation works, overseeing specialist subcontractors carrying out Cable Percussion (CP) Boreholes up to 60m, Window Sampling, Rotary Drilling, and associated ground investigation activities on a high-profile aviation project. Key Responsibilities Managing the safe and efficient delivery of ground investigation works. Leading site teams and specialist ground investigation subcontractors. Overseeing deep borehole drilling, cable percussion works, and window sampling operations. Producing and reviewing RAMS, ITPs, permits, and work packages. Coordinating with engineers, surveyors, and client stakeholders. Monitoring programme, quality, productivity, and commercial performance. Ensuring compliance with Heathrow Airport safety and operational requirements. Managing daily briefings, progress reporting, and workforce planning. Requirements Previous experience as an Agent, Sub Agent, or Project Engineer on Ground Investigation or Geotechnical projects. Proven experience managing: Cable Percussion Boreholes (CP) Deep Boreholes (up to 60m) Window Sampling Rotary Drilling Ground Investigation & Site Investigation Works Strong understanding of RAMS, ITPs, permits, and quality processes. SMSTS and CSCS required. Heathrow Airport or major infrastructure experience advantageous. Ability to obtain full airside security clearance
