Registered Home Manager Location: Herne Bay, Kent Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum We are currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Home Manager to lead a residential care home in Herne Bay, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager looking to take the next step into a Registered Manager position, or an established Home Manager looking for a new challenge. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, strong regulatory compliance and a positive environment for both residents and staff. Key Responsibilities Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home. Provide strong leadership to the care and support team. Ensure high standards of person-centred elderly care are consistently delivered. Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and company policies. Lead on safeguarding, care planning, risk management and quality assurance. Monitor audits, inspections and action plans, driving continuous improvement. Recruit, supervise, motivate and develop staff. Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals. Manage complaints, incidents and concerns effectively. Support occupancy, budgets and the overall performance of the home. Promote dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing for all residents. About You Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Home Manager within a nursing or residential care setting. Elderly care experience is essential. Experience managing a care or nursing home is highly desirable. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance. Confident leading and developing care teams. Strong knowledge of safeguarding, care planning and quality assurance. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive approach with the ability to identify and implement improvements. Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care. Ideally holds, or is working towards, a Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
