Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a 278 works scheme in Tipton, with a start available tomorrow for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities * Setting out and surveying works accurately * Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions * Working from engineering drawings and specifications * Completing site measurements and quality checks * Supporting the Site Manager with technical requirements * Liaising with subcontractors and site teams * Maintaining accurate site records and documentation * Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways/civil engineering projects * Experience with Section 278 (S278) works is highly desirable * Strong setting-out experience * Competent with relevant surveying equipment * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Relevant engineering qualifications * CSCS card * Full UK driving licence preferred Package * £300–£400 per shift, depending on experience * Immediate start available — tomorrow if possible * Ongoing work * Opportunity to work on a major civil engineering/highways scheme If you are an experienced Site Engineer available to start immediately and interested in this opportunity in Tipton, please apply with an up-to-date CV and contact details
