We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor on a major commercial build in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-profile project with a well-established contractor, working as part of an experienced delivery team and taking a key role in the successful delivery of the scheme. The Role As Construction Manager, you will oversee construction activities on site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards. Key responsibilities: Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site teams Overseeing day-to-day construction activities Ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, drawings and specifications Monitoring progress and resolving construction issues Managing subcontractor performance and coordination Working closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team Liaising with consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality About You We are looking for a Construction Manager with an engineering background who has: Proven experience delivering major commercial construction projects Previous experience working for a Tier 1 Main Contractor An engineering or technical background Strong knowledge of construction methodology, sequencing and programme delivery Excellent subcontractor and stakeholder management skills Strong understanding of health, safety and quality requirements Relevant construction qualifications, ideally SMSTS The Opportunity This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Construction Manager looking to work on a major commercial development in Central London with one of the industry's leading Tier 1 contractors.
