Level 3 Teaching Assistant - SEND Focus Location: Manchester Contract: Full-time / Long-term Start Date: September 2026 Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Manchester. We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs and can provide high-quality support both inside and outside the classroom. The role will involve: Supporting pupils with SEND across the primary age range Providing 1:1 and small-group support Helping pupils access the curriculum and develop their independence Supporting children with autism, ADHD and additional learning needs Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation Contributing to a positive and inclusive classroom environment The ideal candidate will have: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent Previous experience supporting children with SEND Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A calm, patient and nurturing approach The ability to work effectively as part of a school team If you're passionate about making a difference to children's education and development, we'd love to hear from you.
