HVAC Design Manager - HS2 Rate: £550-£650 per day IR35: Inside IR35 Location: North Acton, London Hybrid: Minimum 3 days office / 2 days WFH Duration: Initially to March 2027, with a strong likelihood of extension We are recruiting an HVAC Design Manager to join a major HS2 infrastructure project, based at North Acton. This is an excellent long-term contract opportunity for a proactive MEP professional who can take ownership of HVAC design packages and drive them through design review, approval, certification and final sign-off. The Role You will work closely with the MEP Package Manager to: ·Manage HVAC / MEP design packages through to completion ·Lead design reviews, approvals and certification ·Manage technical issues with internal teams and external suppliers ·Ensure design compliance and delivery against project requirements ·Manage HVAC suppliers supporting the fit-out of shafts and headhouses ·Coordinate MEP deliverables and key stakeholders across the project What We're Looking For ·Strong MEP / HVAC design experience ·Experience on major infrastructure or similar complex projects ·Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills ·Proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of design delivery ·CSCS White or Black Card, or ability to obtain one; MAP booking confirmation will be required if not currently held If you are an experienced HVAC, MEP Design Manager, Mechanical Design Manager or MEP Design Engineer looking to work on one of the UK's largest infrastructure programmes, apply now
