Vehicle Bodybuilder / Coachbuilder / Vehicle Body Fitter Location: Trafford Park, Manchester Salary: Up to £15.60 per hour Hours: 44 hours per week | Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:30, Friday 07:00-15:30 Job Type: Full Time | Permanent Vehicle Bodybuilder / Coachbuilder Are you an experienced Vehicle Bodybuilder, Coachbuilder, Body Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder looking for a new opportunity in Trafford Park, Manchester? We are looking for a practical, hands-on Vehicle Bodybuilder to join a busy manufacturing team, building and finishing high-quality commercial vehicle bodies. Key Responsibilities Build and install commercial vehicle bodies Fit insulated panels to commercial freezer bodies Read engineering drawings and works orders Use hand tools, bench saws and measuring equipment Cut and shape metal, wood and plastic materials Complete electrical termination for lighting, switches and tail lifts Seal floors, roofs and joints using silicone and specialist coatings Complete work safely and to high quality standards Maintain a clean and safe workshop Work independently to meet deadlines About You Previous Vehicle Bodybuilding, Coachbuilding or Body Fitting experience Commercial vehicle body experience is highly desirable Confident using hand and workshop tools Able to read engineering drawings Practical, reliable and safety-conscious Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship Own transport or reliable means of getting to Trafford Park Relevant experience in vehicle bodywork, manufacturing, fabrication or commercial vehicle fitting will also be considered.
