Assistant Accountant
Fakenham
9-5pm Monday to Friday
A progressive role has arisen with a growing business for an Assistant Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller.
The role:
Assist with month-end activities, monthly reporting, journals, accruals and prepayments.
Balance sheet reconciliations
Bank reconciliation & cash management
Year‑end assistance, closing the ledger, preparing schedules and maintaining financial controls.
Produce regular financial reports to support decision‑making.
Use accounting/ERP systems confidently and contribute to process improvements.
Skills required:
Experience within a similar role
Ambitious
High attention to detail and comfortable working to month-end deadlines
Good communication skills.
