Bid Manager - National Frameworks Salary: £48,000 - £60,000 + Company Car / Allowance + Premium Benefits Location: Hybrid (Work from Home / Regional Office Access) Ready to shape high-value work-winning strategy for an industry leader? A premier Tier 1 Construction Contractor is seeking a Bid Manager to lead and execute successful submissions across major national frameworks and flagship projects. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Bid Management: Drive the full lifecycle from pre-tender preparation, SQ, and ITT stages through to contract execution and review gateways. Strategy & Content Creation: Develop winning bid plans, draft compelling tender responses, lead answer planning workshops, and coordinate technical input. Team Collaboration: Manage multi-disciplinary bid teams, external consultants, and specialist regional, sustainability, and social value teams. Governance & Quality: Ensure all project documents, presentations, and final submissions meet the highest quality standards, strict deadlines, and compliance rules. Continuous Improvement: Maintain standard document libraries, build framework networks, and refine best-practice methodologies. Key Requirements Tier 1 Background: Current or previous experience working directly for a Tier 1 Construction Contractor in a Bid Manager role. Framework Expertise: Proven track record of securing places on major National Frameworks (e.g., DfE, P23, CCS). Major Project Scale: Experience operating at a national level on high-value tenders (£100m+). Strong Bid Writing: Exceptional written communication skills with the direct capability to draft winning tender content.
