Quantity Surveyor – Earthworks & Civils Location: Wick, Scotland Project Value: Circa £30 million Sector: Energy & Power / Major Civils & Earthworks Start Date: January 2027, with an earlier start strongly preferred Recruitment Contact: DB Recruitment The Opportunity DB Recruitment is currently working with a well-established specialist contractor operating across earthworks and civil engineering, who are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a major energy and power project in Wick. The project is valued at approximately £30 million and involves significant earthworks and civils, including an estimated 2 million cubic metres of earthworks. This is a substantial project offering an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in the commercial management and delivery of a major infrastructure scheme. While the project is due to commence in January 2027, our client is keen to identify and appoint the right individual as soon as possible, allowing them to become fully embedded within the project team and support pre-construction and mobilisation activities.
