Location: Rochdale / Field-Based – UK Travel Salary: £40,000–£45,000 DOE + Overtime Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Field Service Engineer to join our team, working on specialist temperature-controlled equipment across pharmaceutical, healthcare and laboratory environments. The role will involve servicing, maintaining, fault-finding, calibrating and validating stability chambers, environmental rooms and ultra-low temperature freezers. Key Responsibilities * Service, maintain and repair refrigeration and temperature-controlled equipment * Diagnose electrical, mechanical, refrigeration and humidity faults * Carry out planned preventative maintenance, calibration and validation * Complete service reports and communicate findings to customers * Manage van stock and respond to breakdowns * Participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota * Travel throughout the UK, with occasional travel to Ireland Requirements * Previous field service engineering experience * Refrigeration and/or laboratory equipment experience * Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills * Full UK driving licence * F-Gas Category 1 desirable * Calibration and validation experience desirable * GMP experience desirable Benefits * £35,000–£45,000 salary DOE * Overtime opportunities * Company van and fuel card * Paid home-to-home travel * Daily allowance and expenses covered * 33 days holiday including bank holidays * Life assurance * Medicash health cash plan * Virtual GP * Company pension * Training and development opportunities * Birthday day off * Cycle to work scheme * Buy and sell holiday scheme
