We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major public realm scheme in Leeds, starting tomorrow. Key Responsibilities * Setting out and surveying for civil engineering and public realm works * Working closely with Site Managers and the wider engineering team * Checking levels, dimensions and coordinates * Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications * Maintaining accurate site records and quality documentation * Supporting quality control and ensuring works meet required standards * Liaising with subcontractors and site teams * Identifying and resolving technical issues on site Requirements * Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering/public realm projects * Strong setting out and surveying experience * Competent with relevant surveying equipment * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * CSCS qualification * Strong communication and organisational skills * Previous experience on highways, infrastructure, streetscape or public realm schemes would be highly advantageous Package * £300–£380 per shift, depending on experience * Immediate start – tomorrow * 3-month contract * Major public realm scheme in Leeds * Long-term opportunities may be available for the right candidate If you are an experienced Site Engineer available to start immediately and interested in this opportunity, please apply with your up-to-date CV or contact us for further information
