Alice Rose Recruitment is working with a leading Building Services provider to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a high-profile commercial office building based in Chancery Lane. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established engineering team, working on a modern commercial site where you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance across both electrical and mechanical building services. The role is based on a single static site, offering a varied workload, technical exposure and genuine opportunities for career progression. What's on Offer * £47,000 Basic Salary * Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00) * Static commercial building in Chancery Lane * Overtime opportunities * Company pension * Ongoing technical training and development * Career progression within a growing Building Services provider * Supportive engineering team The Role Working as part of the on-site engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining the building's mechanical and electrical systems while ensuring the highest standards of compliance and service delivery are achieved. Key Responsibilities * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) * Respond to reactive maintenance and fault finding * Maintain electrical and mechanical building services plant * Carry out maintenance on HVAC systems and associated equipment * Ensure all plant operates efficiently and safely * Issue and manage Permit to Work documentation * Carry out minor installations and remedial works * Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers and building management * Complete maintenance records and statutory logbooks * Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures and site standards Requirements * NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering * Experience within commercial building maintenance * Multi-skilled electrical and mechanical knowledge * Strong fault-finding ability * Good communication and client-facing skills * Experience working within a commercial office environment * 18th Edition, L8 or LVAP qualifications are advantageous but not essential Whether you're currently a Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Engineer or Building Services Engineer, this is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Building Services provider offering long-term stability, technical development and genuine career progression.
