Groundworkers Location: Guildford, Surrey Start: ASAP Duration: Until October/November 2026 Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 Paid Hours: 9.5 hours per day Red Sky Personnel is currently recruiting 4 experienced Groundworkers for an ongoing civil engineering project on a Thames Water site in Guildford. We are looking for experienced Groundworkers with a strong civils background. Previous experience in pipelaying, drainage and underground services would be highly beneficial. Successful candidates do not need to already hold a Thames Water Passport, as the required Thames Water training/course will be arranged prior to starting on site. Duties General groundworks and civil engineering duties Pipelaying and drainage works Excavation and trench preparation Installation of underground services Bedding, laying and backfilling pipes Working around manholes and drainage systems Working safely alongside plant and other site teams Following all site health & safety procedures Requirements Valid CSCS/CPCS card, as applicable Minimum 3 years' groundworks experience Pipelaying and drainage experience preferred Previous civils, utilities or infrastructure experience Good understanding of site health & safety Able to provide relevant work references Willing and able to complete the required Thames Water training/course prior to starting If you are an experienced Groundworker and available to start ASAP, please apply with your CV or contact Red Sky Personnel for further details
