Risk and Governance Manager £50,000 - £55,000 Leicester, Onsite Full-Time, Permanent   Are you curious about how technology is transforming the world of finance? Our client is an industry leader in FinTech looking for a driven individual who can maintain and operate the company’s risk management framework, enforce governance, and maintain regulatory compliance. The role Monitor risk indicators, facilitate risk assessments, manage the risk register and ensure risks are regularly reviewed and updated Track actions resulting from risk reviews, audits, policy reviews, incidents, and more Identify emerging risks and escalate material risks to Senior Management Coordinate governance activities, track actions through to completion and prepare reports for Senior Management Support FCA Compliance and regulatory change, including Consumer Duty, conduct risk and data protection Oversee policy reviews, incident and breach reporting, control testing and remediation activities Support third-party risk management, supplier oversight, business continuity and operational resilience planning and testing The candidate Essential Skills and Experience Experience in managing action logs, risk registers, and governance reporting Strong organisational and project management skills Excellent communicator who enjoys working in a team and individual Eager to learn, grow, and build a career in fintech Ability to use own initiative Desirable Skills and Experience Financial Services experience, including understanding of FCA regulation and Consumer Duty Knowledge of operational resilience, outsourcing, or information security frameworks Professional qualifications in Risk, Compliance, Governance, or Audit What is on offer Hands-on experience in an industry that will never die Friendly and supportive team who will help you grow Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity to collaborate with an industry-leading business    If you are passionate about mitigating risks, reinforcing controls, and remediating incidents, we want to hear from you!
