Carpenter/Joiner – First & Second Fix – Urgent Start – Central London Our client requires an experienced carpenter/joiner for a short-term first and second fix carpentry project on a commercial site in the Smithfield area of Central London. This is an urgent requirement with an immediate start for the right carpenter/joiner. The Role The successful carpenter/joiner will carry out general first and second fix carpentry, including fitting doors, skirting, and floor repairs. Candidates with skills in high-end joinery are welcomed, but this role does not involve installation of the high-value bespoke bar units on site — that work is being handled separately. What's Required * Solid first and second fix carpentry experience * Ability to work independently and efficiently * Hands-on experience fitting doors, skirting, and floor repairs * A CSCS card * Strong, reliable work ethic — our client requires a fast-working, competent carpenter/joiner Details * Location: Central London (Smithfield area) * Duration: Approximately two weeks, subject to completion of works * Hours: 8:00am–5:00pm, 9 hours paid per day * Pay: Paid daily (rate to be confirmed) * Start: Immediate If you're a skilled carpenter/joiner with strong first and second fix experience and can start immediately, apply now
