We are recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop. Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable, and compliant. Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Technician Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical faults Complete inspections, preventative maintenance, and defect repairs Prepare vehicles for MOT testing in line with DVSA standards Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation Work safely and efficiently within a professional workshop environment Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard Skills and Experience Required Essential Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Technician Experience working on heavy goods vehicles Strong fault finding and diagnostic skills Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Full UK driving licence Desirable Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance qualification HGV Class 1 or Class 2 licence IRTEC accreditation Main dealer or fleet maintenance experience Apply Today If you are an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Truck Technician looking for a permanent Monday to Friday day shift role with excellent overtime opportunities and no weekend working, we would love to hear from you.
