Autograph Recruitment is working with a growing organisation looking for a driven Business Development Manager to join its commercial team. You don’t need experience within a specific industry. We’re simply looking for someone who has successfully sold a service, enjoys speaking with new clients and knows how to turn opportunities into long-term business. This is a genuine new-business role, so you’ll need to be comfortable approaching prospective clients, building relationships with decision-makers and managing the sales process through to completion. What you’ll be doing Identifying and approaching new prospective clients Building strong relationships with key decision-makers Understanding clients’ needs and presenting the right service Managing the full sales cycle, from initial conversation to closing the deal Preparing proposals and delivering engaging presentations Developing a strong pipeline of new opportunities Working closely with internal teams to ensure new clients receive an excellent service What we’re looking for Experience selling a service within any industry A proven ability to generate and win new business A confident, engaging and personable approach Strong communication and relationship-building skills The motivation to manage your own pipeline and achieve targets A proactive attitude and genuine appetite for business development In return, you’ll join a supportive and ambitious business that will give you the autonomy to develop your territory, build lasting client relationships and make a real impact on its continued growth.
