Project Manager – Healthcare / Specialist Imaging Location: Nationwide – Lodging Provided Salary: Competitive + Package An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join an established and growing building contractor specialising in healthcare, specialist imaging and complex refurbishment projects. The business has developed a strong reputation within the healthcare sector, working with NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers and leading medical imaging manufacturers across the UK. Their projects range from refurbishment and enabling works through to larger new-build healthcare facilities, with particular expertise in MRI, CT, X-Ray, Cath Lab and other specialist imaging environments. This role will involve managing projects nationwide, with accommodation/lodging provided where required. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience delivering healthcare projects, with specific experience around MRI installations or specialist medical imaging environments being highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: * Managing healthcare and specialist imaging projects from pre-construction through to completion * Taking overall responsibility for programme, quality, health & safety and delivery * Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and specialist equipment providers * Managing projects within live hospital and clinical environments * Coordinating enabling works and building works associated with MRI and other imaging installations * Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings * Monitoring project programmes, costs and project performance * Ensuring works are delivered with minimal disruption to patients and clinical services * Managing multiple stakeholders and specialist trades throughout the project lifecycle The Ideal Candidate: * Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry * Healthcare construction experience is essential * Experience working within live hospital/clinical environments * MRI installation experience would be highly advantageous * Experience with CT, X-Ray, Cath Labs or similar specialist imaging projects would also be considered * Strong understanding of construction processes, subcontractor management and project delivery * Excellent communication and client management skills * Willingness to travel and lodge nationwide What's on Offer: * £70,000 and benefits package * Nationwide projects with lodging provided * £25 per day food allowance * Opportunity to work on highly specialised healthcare projects * Exposure to some of the UK's leading healthcare and medical imaging environments * Long-term career opportunity with an established and growing contractor * Varied and technically interesting project portfolio If you're an experienced Project Manager with a strong healthcare background, particularly someone who has managed MRI installation or specialist imaging projects, I'd be keen to have a confidential conversation
