CNC Setter / Operator – CNC Lathe Pay Rate: £16.00 - £18 per hour (£18 for Programming experience) Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00am–5:00pm Location: Stoke We are looking for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join our manufacturing team, working primarily on CNC Lathes. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with a solid background in manufacturing who takes pride in producing quality work and can work confidently in a fast-paced environment. The Role * Setting and operating CNC lathes * Reading and accurately interpreting engineering drawings * Producing components to the required quality and specification * Carrying out basic inspection and quality checks * Identifying and resolving practical production issues * Working efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines * Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience as a CNC Setter / Operator, ideally with CNC turning/lathe experience * Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings * Solid background in manufacturing * Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality * Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines * Reliable, hardworking and able to use initiative * Comfortable working as part of a team If you're an experienced CNC Setter / Operator looking for a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, we'd like to hear from you
