Description
Working within a busy manufacturing environment, this position is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet customer, regulatory and company quality requirements. The role will support continuous improvement, root cause investigations and quality system compliance.
Duties:
Manage internal non-conformance's, customer complaints and supplier quality issues
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Develop and maintain quality, inspection and control plans
Review engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes
Monitor quality data, SPC and process capability
Support internal, customer and third-party audits
Assist with process validation and continuous improvement activities
Work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain and customers

Previous Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
Experience within aerospace, defence or another highly regulated industry
Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 and ISO 9001
Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
PC literate with Microsoft Office skills
