We are looking for a proactive and motivated Contract Manager to to play a pivotal role within the Property team, leading the management, performance and financial control of a large portfolio of subcontractors delivering responsive repairs, empty homes and healthy homes services. You will be based between both offices, one being in Herefordshire and one being in Shropshire. Monitoring contractor performance through KPIs, SLAs, audits and regular operational review meetings. Leading performance management activities, including formal improvement plans and notices when required. Ensuring the timely receipt and accurate management of contract data, documentation and job status information. Managing work variations and ensuring all changes are controlled in line with agreed processes. Overseeing workstream budgets, contractor valuations and schedules of rates to ensure value for money and prevent contract drift.To succeed as the Contract Manager, you need: Significant experience managing repairs and maintenance contracts. Strong contractor and performance management experience. Experience delivering responsive repairs and void services. Budget management and financial oversight experience. A thorough understanding of contract management principles and construction contract law.
