We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Coachbuilder. This is a permanent Coachbuilder opportunity based in Trafford Park, Manchester, offering a chance to work within a reputable commercial vehicle manufacturing company.  Key benefits: Competitive annual salary of £35,500, with overtime available 44-hour working week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work Opportunities for skills development within a specialised industry sector Long-term career prospects with a well-established company Company-branded uniform, pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement Employee wellness programmes and benefits packageDuties of a Coachbuilder: Building, fitting, and finishing commercial vehicle bodies to high standards Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and work orders Installing insulated panels on refrigerated and freezer vehicles Using hand tools, bench saws, and measurement equipment safely and effectively Cutting and shaping metals, timber, and plastics with hand and workshop tools Performing electrical termination work for lighting, switches, and tail lifts Sealing joints, floors, and roofs with silicone and gel coatings Working independently to meet production deadlines Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Following all health and safety, quality control, and manufacturing procedures Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standardsRequirements of a Coachbuilder: Previous experience in vehicle bodybuilding, coachbuilding, or similar manufacturing environments Good understanding of vehicle body construction and assembly processes Ability to read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings Experience operating a range of hand and workshop tools Strong practical and mechanical skills with keen attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Demonstrable reliability, proactive attitude, and strong commitment to health and safety Reliable transportation to access Trafford Park siteIf you possess the relevant experience and skills, and are seeking a role within a reputable company that values craftsmanship and safety, please consider applying to this Coachbuilder role.
