HGV Technician TP Select is recruiting an HGV Technician on behalf of our client, an established operator seeking someone passionate about vehicle maintenance and repair, who enjoys a hands-on, fast-paced environment. Our client is looking for an HGV Technician who is enthusiastic, dependable, and takes pride in their workmanship — someone committed to keeping heavy goods vehicles safe and running efficiently as part of a supportive, skilled team. Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off — 12-hour rotating shifts HGV Technician Duties * Carry out timely MOT preparation, servicing, inspections, and repairs, in line with DVSA and Operator's Licence requirements * Complete all required paperwork to meet health, safety, and food safety standards, maintaining a full audit trail * Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) where authorised, reporting any incidents or accidents through the correct channels * Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service with a proactive mindset Qualifications * IRTEC, City & Guilds Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or BTEC National Certificate in Vehicle Repair and Technology * Other relevant industry qualifications Experience * Excellent knowledge of Motor Technology * Previous experience working within a similar role, business and/or industry (essential) Apply through TP Select today for this HGV Technician role — we are recruiting on behalf of our client
