Stock Condition Surveyor / DEA – Monmouthshire Location: Monmouthshire, Wales Duration: Approximately four months Start: November 2026 Workload: Approximately 865 properties Working pattern: Four days per week Positions available: Two Payment: Price work, per completed survey The role We are looking for two experienced Stock Condition Surveyors/Domestic Energy Assessors for a large housing project covering approximately 865 properties across Monmouthshire. The work will involve visiting occupied homes, completing stock condition surveys and collecting the information required for domestic energy assessments. Survey information will be entered using the Lifespan RdSAP system. Previous Lifespan experience would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided. Requirements * Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor * Must be registered and accredited with Elmhurst * Knowledge and experience of RdSAP * Previous stock condition surveying or domestic energy assessment experience * Able to work four days per week * Own vehicle and willingness to travel throughout Monmouthshire * Comfortable using tablet-based surveying software * Professional when dealing with residents * Available to complete a screening interview and technical assessment Surveyors will be responsible for paying their own Elmhurst lodgement costs. An additional contribution will be paid for every assessment that requires lodgement. Not every survey will need to be lodged.
