Estimating Engineer – Gas & Heating Systems Job Title: Estimating Engineer – Gas & Heating Systems Job reference Number: (phone number removed) Industry Sector: Estimator, Estimating, Quoting, Quotes, Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, House builders, Local Authorities, Social Construction, Commercial Construction, Heat Pump, Renewables, Renewable Heating Engineer, Heating Design Engineer, Mechanical Design Engineer, Heat Pump Engineer, Heat Pump, Air Source Heat Pump, Ground Source Heat Pump, Installer Area to be covered: Sites are within 1 hour of Hinckley Remuneration: £35,000 - £40,000 Benefits: Company Van & Comprehensive Benefits Package The role of the Estimating Engineer – Gas & Heating Systems will involve: * Estimator role responsible for the estimating for commercial gas/heating systems across a range of large scale residential, industrial and commercial projects. * Carry out site surveys for commercial, industrial and residential plumbing and heating projects. * Prepare accurate estimates and quotations, covering labour, materials and project costs. * Review drawings and specifications to ensure accurate pricing. * Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain information and costs. * Manage enquiries from initial survey through to quotation submission. * Work closely with the project and site teams to ensure a smooth handover.
