This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their payroll career, whether you are already experienced in payroll or are at a more junior level and looking to build your experience.
You will be part of a small but busy team, working closely with colleagues to ensure clients' payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
The Role
The role will be predominantly payroll data entry and administration, so excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach are essential.
Your responsibilities will include:
Processing payroll data accurately and efficiently
Entering and checking payroll information
Processing starters and leavers
Updating employee records
Checking payroll reports and identifying discrepancies
Assisting with payroll queries
Ensuring payroll deadlines are met
Providing general payroll administration support to the wider team
Maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
About You
We are open to considering candidates at both junior and experienced levels.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous payroll experience, although this is not essential
Experience within an accountancy practice would be advantageous
Excellent attention to detail
Strong data entry and administrative skills
A methodical and organised approach to your work
Good numerical ability
The ability to work accurately to deadlines
Good communication skills
A willingness to learn and develop
The ability to work effectively as part of a small team Practice experience is preferred but not essential, so if you have payroll experience from another environment, we would still be keen to hear from you.
