GCSE Maths Tutor - Warrington Location: Warrington Hours: 5-15 hours per week Start Date: September 2026 Duration: Ongoing Prospero Teaching are recruiting for an enthusiastic GCSE Maths Tutor to provide focused 1:1 tuition to a young person in Warrington. We're looking for someone who can make challenging topics easier to understand, identify gaps in knowledge and help the learner develop both their mathematical ability and confidence. Key Responsibilities Deliver individual GCSE Maths tuition Assess the learner's current level and areas for development Plan targeted lessons based on individual needs Reinforce key curriculum topics Support revision and exam preparation Adapt explanations and resources where necessary Track progress and provide constructive feedback Candidate Requirements Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE Maths Strong knowledge of the GCSE Maths curriculum Previous 1:1 tuition experience advantageous Ability to differentiate and adapt lessons Positive and motivating teaching style QTS, PGCE or relevant tutoring experience desirable Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one Right to Work in the UK Two professional child-related references Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business and education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy
